Nectar AI is the adult AI companion platform at nectar.ai, which also used to run as trynectar.ai. It does a lot: chat with premade or custom companions, ready-made story scenarios it calls fantasies, group chats, an image and video generator, voice messages and live voice and video calls. It runs in your browser rather than as a native app, and it combines a free plan, three paid plans (Premium, Pro and Ultimate) and a separate balance of credits that many actions spend.

Nastia takes a simpler approach. You design one companion of your own, chat uncensored without a filter, hear them in voice messages, and see them: ask for a picture in the middle of a conversation, then turn it into a short video. It is worth being fair before comparing. Nectar AI gets a lot right:

• Video with sound. Its V3 video model makes clips of 5 to 30 seconds with audio included, at 480p, 720p or 1080p, and you can extend a finished clip by 5, 10 or 15 seconds. You can also turn an image from your chat into a video with one tap.
• Live calls, now with video. You can start a voice call from the chat header, interrupt your companion mid-sentence and follow a live transcript. In October 2026 Nectar added video calls with a range of characters.
• A choice of writers. Its docs list seven chat models, from Nectar Basic to Orchid, Primrose and the new Hibiscus, each rated for consistency, creativity, descriptiveness and memory.
• Big scenes. Fantasies give you a ready-made setting and a role, and a group chat can hold up to 10 companions who talk to each other. Group images with several characters arrived in September 2026.
• Voice design. Beyond its library of ready-made voices, you can describe a voice (accent, pace, texture) and pick from generated previews.

If you want long videos with sound, live calls and big group stories, Nectar AI is a strong choice. The trade-offs show up in how features are spread across plans and how much runs on credits.

Nectar has a free plan and three paid plans: Premium, Pro and Ultimate. When we checked in October 2026, its pricing page only showed plan prices after signing in, so we do not quote them here. What its help docs do spell out is what each tier adds:

• Free: the character creator, AI chat and a limited number of image generations, with one companion.
• Premium: still one companion, an 8K context window and one persona. Voice messages come with paid plans.
• Pro: unlimited companion creation, a 16K context window, three personas and two images generated at once.
• Ultimate: long-term Memory, video generation and voice chat, a 64K context window, ten personas, up to four generations at once and video messages in chat.

In practice, the features many people come to Nectar for, video, live calls and long-term memory, sit on Ultimate. Premium and Pro mostly differ in how many companions and personas you can have and how much recent conversation the AI can see.

Credits are Nectar's in-app currency, and its FAQ lists what spends them: chat models with a displayed credit price, paid Memory options, voice messages beyond your included allowance, voice calls, custom voice previews, Enhance, V3 and V3 2K images, and video generation and extensions. Calls are charged by the time you spend on them; at the October 2026 launch Nectar announced a sale rate of 1 credit per second for voice calls and 2 credits per second for video calls (r/NectarAI ).

Credits come in packs, sold on top of a plan. Nectar's docs repeatedly advise checking the displayed price before each paid action. That is transparent, but it means your monthly cost depends on which model you chat with, how long you call and how long and sharp your videos are.

Nastia has three plans: Free, Standard at $11.99 a month, and Unlimited at $15.99 a month. On Unlimited, chat messages are unlimited. Pictures and videos come with Standard and Unlimited and draw from a daily token allowance that refills every day, so you always know what today looks like.

Nectar's FAQ says the free plan includes the character creator, AI chat and a limited number of image generations, and its docs add that free accounts can have one companion. Its FAQ says premium plans unlock unlimited messaging, while the docs note that your plan and chosen model set your message allowance, and that only your own messages count toward it.

Nastia's free plan lets you create one custom companion and chat uncensored with daily limits, with no credit card required. The idea is to come back to the same conversation over time and find out whether you like your companion before you spend anything. Pictures, video and long-term memory come with the paid plans.

If media is your main reason for using an adult AI site, be honest with yourself: Nectar AI is ahead here. Its image generator offers several model versions, including V3 and a sharper V3 2K, plus ready-made customization tiles and an Enhance button that expands a rough prompt. On Ultimate, its video generator makes clips of up to 30 seconds with sound, at up to 1080p, can include up to 10 companions, and can extend a clip from where it ends.

Nastia is built around seeing the one person you are talking to rather than around a studio. When you create a companion you choose their appearance, and every picture is generated to match it. In a one-on-one chat you can tap Show me next to a reply to see that moment, or generate images on demand, then turn the ones you like into short uncensored videos. It all comes from the same daily allowance on Standard and Unlimited, with no per-clip pricing to work out.

Nectar is open about how its memory works. Its memory guide explains that your companion sees a limited window of recent conversation (8K tokens on Premium, 16K on Pro and 64K on Ultimate), and that a Memory panel stores key facts. Memories can be created automatically from the chat or added by hand, up to 200 characters each, and you can star up to 10 as high importance. A new conversation starts without the earlier chat's memories. Its FAQ lists long-term Memory as an Ultimate feature, and says that when a subscription ends, premium memory features become unavailable and stored chat history from premium tiers may become inaccessible.

On Nastia, paid plans include long-term memory that carries across sessions, on Standard as well as Unlimited. Your companion recalls your name, what you told them about your week, the running jokes and the storyline you started days ago, then builds on it. You can also download your full chat history whenever you like, on any plan. For exporting chats, Nectar's docs point to Chat Toolkit, a Chrome extension made by its community.

Nectar AI wins on voice if live conversation matters to you. Paid plans include voice messages, where you tap a reply to hear it read aloud, with an optional narrator for the scene descriptions. On Ultimate you can call your companion , interrupt them as you would a person, and since October 2026 switch to a video call. Calls spend credits by the second.

Nastia does not offer voice calls. Your companion can send you voice messages, so you hear them in their own voice when they reply, which many people find more relaxed than a live call. If calling is essential and Ultimate plus credits fits your budget, Nectar AI is the better fit on this point.

Nectar's character creator walks you through a category and style, ethnicity and an adult age, hair, eyes and body type, then personality, backstory, greeting and example dialogue. Ethnicity, hair, eyes and body type are fixed once the companion is created. A Photo Reference option takes a face from an image generated on Nectar, and in August 2026 Nectar said that, due to new compliance requirements, it could not bring back image uploads in character creation (r/NectarAI ). Free and Premium accounts can keep one companion; Pro and Ultimate can create as many as they like. Fantasies and group chats of up to 10 companions round it out.

Nastia is built around one relationship at a time. You design your companion's appearance, personality, backstory and voice, and they stay consistent because they were made for you. For safety, Nastia does not accept photo uploads, so every image is generated from your companion's design. When you want a bigger scene, group chats are part of the Unlimited plan: you can bring up to five of your own companions into one conversation.

Nectar AI is for adults 18 and over. Its FAQ describes an SFW mode that filters explicit content and an NSFW mode for verified adults, and lists prohibited categories that apply in chat and in image and video generation. In August 2026 Nectar announced that its chat filters had been broadened to more categories, that some characters and fantasies that previously worked might now be flagged, and that creators should update descriptions to stay compliant. Blocked messages show a category and reason, and an Appeal button lets you flag mistakes; the FAQ says appeals get a response within three to five business days.

Nastia is for adults only, 18 and over, and chat is uncensored on every plan, including free. There are no moral lectures and no settings to hunt for. The only limits are legal and ethical ones: no minors and no real people. Your chats are never shown to other users and never sold.

Nectar AI runs an active official subreddit and Discord, and many members clearly enjoy it: one user wrote in January 2026 that Ultimate was worth the price and only wished they could send longer messages (r/NectarAI ). Posts on r/NectarAI also show some recurring frustrations:

• Prompts not followed. A member said in January 2026 that the image and video generator often produced results far from what they asked for (r/NectarAI ). Nectar later said its new image engine improves prompt adherence and character likeness.
• Looks changing after updates. When image models changed in November 2025, a user said the new style had altered the look of all their companions, with no way to go back to the old model (r/NectarAI ).
• Filters catching ordinary content. One user said in July 2026 that even a very basic companion triggered a content warning (r/NectarAI ), and another asked how to reach support after a character was marked as violating guidelines (r/NectarAI ).
• Slow answers. A member said in September 2026 that they asked the community rather than wait weeks for a ticket reply (r/NectarAI ).
• Saving stories. A writer asked how to keep a long roleplay offline without endless copy and paste or screenshots (r/NectarAI ).

These are individual reports rather than universal problems. But they line up with what pushes people to look for an alternative: they want a companion who looks and acts the same from one week to the next, and costs they can predict.

Nectar's FAQ says conversations and generated content are private, not visible to other users, not shared with third parties and not used to train external AI models. Under its Terms of Service , subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, which you can do in your profile settings, by emailing [email protected] or through its Discord. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, but fees already paid are not refunded, and refund requests are considered case by case unless the law requires otherwise. To delete your account, the FAQ says to contact support by email or Discord, and that deletion is permanent.
