Muah AI is the adult AI girlfriend and companion site at muah.ai, which describes itself as California based. It packs a lot into one chatroom: text chat, generated photos, voice, video, live phone calls and even a music generator, plus premade companions, a community character gallery and a character creator. Paid access is split into three VIP tiers, and some extras are unlocked with XP levels.

It is worth being fair before comparing. Muah AI gets a lot right:

• A lot of tools in one place. Beyond chat, the chatroom has photos, read-aloud voice, video generated from your photos (with an audio option on its newer video model), live calls and a Music Generator that can draft a song from your conversation.
• Real control over the AI. You can pick the AI Core (the language model behind replies), adjust its temperature and turn automatic fallback on or off, and Super VIP and ULTRA add a daily allowance of chats on premium models listed as GPT PRO / GROK.
• Characters your way. Start from a premade companion, import one from the community gallery, or build your own, and keep up to ten character slots, each with its own conversation.
• A cheap entry point if you pay yearly. VIP costs $69.99 for a year, about $5.83 a month, and includes unlimited chat and unlimited enhanced photo generation.
• Ways to keep your data. You can export a conversation as HTML or PNG, and download a .muah backup file of your slots.

If you want live calls, model choice and a big toolbox, Muah AI is a strong choice. The trade-offs show up in how features are spread across tiers and levels.

When we checked Muah AI's VIP page in October 2026, there were three paid plans:

• VIP: $19.99 a month, or $69.99 a year ($5.83 a month). Unlimited chat, unlimited enhanced photo generation, enhanced AI and customization, three times more daily voice generation and three times longer responses.
• Super VIP: $49.99 a month, or $499 a year ($41.58 a month). Everything in VIP plus expanded memory, 30 GPT PRO / GROK chats a day, 4K photo enhancement, ten times the voice generation and six times longer responses.
• ULTRA: $99.99 a month, or $999 a year ($83.25 a month). Everything in Super VIP plus real-time phone calls, maximum memory and photo quality, 100 GPT PRO / GROK chats a day and AI video generation, which is labelled beta.

The headline $5.83 only applies if you pay $69.99 up front for a year; paid month by month, VIP is $19.99. The yearly discount is 71% on VIP but only 17% on Super VIP and ULTRA. And the two features many people associate with Muah, live phone calls and video generation, appear only in the ULTRA column of its plan comparison.

Muah's side-by-side table shows how the tiers scale. Response length goes from 3x on VIP to 6x on Super VIP and 12x on ULTRA, and daily voice generation from 3x to 10x and 30x. Memory is listed as Standard VIP, Expanded and Maximum. Real-time calls are ULTRA only, with 30 to 60 minutes a day that reset daily, and the plan notes that a phone link setup is required.

Muah also runs an XP system. According to its user guide , the chatroom uses 1,000 XP per level, XP is shared across your character slots, and some features spend levels: unlocking extra character slots, generating music and certain media or field upgrades. On its Gen 2 video tool you can pick 5, 10 or 15 seconds, and the guide says 10 seconds costs twice as much as 5 and 15 seconds three times as much. The confirmation shows the actual cost before you submit.

Nastia has three plans: Free, Standard at $11.99 a month, and Unlimited at $15.99 a month. On Unlimited, chat messages are unlimited. Pictures and videos come with Standard and Unlimited and draw from a daily token allowance that refills every day, so you always know what today looks like.

Muah AI lets you open a browser demo without logging in, which is a nice way to look around the chatroom. After that, its guide says free use can involve guest prompts, message limits, photo generation quotas, locked photos and call allowances, and its VIP page does not publish a fixed free allowance. The exact limits are shown in the app, so check them there.

Nastia's free plan lets you create one custom companion and chat uncensored with daily limits, with no credit card required. The idea is to come back to the same conversation over time and find out whether you like your companion before you spend anything. Pictures, video and long-term memory come with the paid plans.

If photos are your main reason for using an adult AI site, be honest with yourself: Muah AI's VIP plan is generous here, with unlimited enhanced photo generation from the first paid tier. Super VIP adds 4K enhancement, and you can turn a photo into a video, add audio on the newer video model and extend a clip from its last frame.

Nastia is built around seeing the one person you are talking to rather than around a toolbox. When you create a companion you choose their appearance, and every picture is generated to match it. Muah AI is open about how its memory works. Its guide explains that the AI receives recent conversation within a memory budget tied to your membership, that older messages outside that budget can appear faded, and that a beta Automatic AI Memory Compaction feature can write an editable System Summary of older facts. Higher tiers expand the memory budget. The guide itself says a summary is not a perfect record of everything you said.

On Nastia, paid plans include long-term memory that carries across sessions. Your companion recalls your name, what you told them about your week, the running jokes and the storyline you started days ago, then builds on it. You can also download your full chat history whenever you like, on any plan. Muah offers exports too, so on this point the two are closer than on most others.

Muah AI wins on voice if live calls matter to you. You can record voice messages to your companion, use Gen Voice to have a reply read aloud (the daily amount grows with your tier), and on ULTRA, call your companion in real time for 30 to 60 minutes a day.

Nastia does not offer voice calls. Your companion can send you voice messages, so you hear them in their own voice when they reply, which many people find more relaxed than a live call. If calling is essential and ULTRA fits your budget, Muah AI is the better fit on this point.

On Muah AI you can pick a premade character, import one from the community gallery, or use the character creator, which can start from an image you upload or link along with a short description. A Core Prompt shapes personality and a separate Look-Like field shapes photos. Up to ten character slots each keep their own history, and extra slots are unlocked in order by spending XP levels. Nastia is built around one relationship at a time. You design your companion's appearance, personality, backstory and voice, and they stay consistent because they were made for you. For safety, Nastia does not accept photo uploads, so every image is generated from your companion's design. When you want a bigger scene, group chats are part of the Unlimited plan: you can bring up to five of your own companions into one conversation.

Muah AI has an active community on its own subreddit and Discord, and plenty of members enjoy it. Recent posts on r/MuahAI also show some recurring problems:

• Images not arriving. One member said in July 2026 that Muah had stopped generating images for them altogether (r/MuahAI ), and a paying subscriber said in August that they only received a text description of the picture instead of the image (r/MuahAI ).
• The same face every time. A user said in-chat photo requests kept producing the same generic woman rather than their character, unless they waited for the Spice it up button (r/MuahAI ).
• Calls that stop working. A new subscriber said live calls worked on their first night and then failed the next day (r/MuahAI ).
• Downtime and slow support. Members asked whether the site was down in September and October 2026 (r/MuahAI , r/MuahAI ), and another said several emails to support went unanswered (r/MuahAI ).
• Copycat apps. A post in August 2026 warned that Muah AI is website only and that apps using its name on the App Store and Google Play are impersonators (r/MuahAI ).

These are individual reports rather than universal problems. But they line up with what pushes people to look for an alternative: they want a companion who shows up reliably, and plans that are easy to understand.

Muah AI is for adults 18 and over, under its Terms of Service . The same terms make users responsible for the content generated from their prompts. Its guide notes that an app-mode session can be limited to safe-for-work companionship. For privacy on your statement, its VIP page says charges appear as USWEIXIN or AI DRAMA rather than Muah AI.

Muah AI has also had a security incident. According to Have I Been Pwned , Muah.AI suffered a data breach in September 2024 that exposed about 1.9 million email addresses alongside AI prompts. The breach was first reported by 404 Media and covered by Malwarebytes on October 9, 2024. Whichever companion app you use, it is sensible to sign up with an email address you keep for this kind of service.

Nastia is for adults only, 18 and over, and chat is uncensored on every plan, including free. There are no moral lectures and no settings to hunt for. The only limits are legal and ethical ones: no minors and no real people. Your chats are never shown to other users and never sold.

Muah AI's terms say subscriptions are not refundable, and that you can cancel at any time in its settings, by emailing [email protected] or through your payment provider. Its support team may make a one-time exception for a partial or full refund when a customer acts in good faith. The checkout notice adds that disputing a card charge leads to a permanent account ban and asks you to email for a refund instead. To leave entirely, the guide describes a Delete Account flow in Settings and a separate Wipe Cloud Data tool, and the privacy policy says you can ask for your personal information to be deleted.
