Nastia Help

Age verification

Nastia is strictly for adults. In most of the world, confirming that you are over 18 when you sign up is all that is required. In a small number of countries the law now asks for more, and if you are in one of them you will be asked to complete a short age check.

Where this applies

A number of countries have introduced laws requiring services that host adult content to confirm their users are adults, rather than relying on a self-declaration. Where one of those laws applies to you, Nastia asks you to complete an age check.

This is a legal requirement in those countries, not a product decision, and the list changes as more countries introduce these laws. The countries currently affected are shown when you first sign up. If the law where you are does not require it, nothing about your experience changes and confirming you are over 18 remains all that is needed.

How it works

  1. 1. Confirm you are over 18

This happens when you first arrive, the same as for everyone.

  2. 2. Choose a verification method

If an age check is required where you are, you will be shown the methods available in your country and can pick whichever suits you. Options can include a facial age estimate processed on your own device, a card check, PayPal, or a government identity document.

  3. 3. Complete the check with the provider

The check happens with our age-assurance provider, not on Nastia. It usually takes a few seconds.

  4. 4. Carry on

You are returned to Nastia and will not be asked again.

What we keep

Only the outcome. That means whether the check passed, when it happened, and the country it applied to. We never receive your identity document, your photo, or your date of birth, so there is nothing of that kind for us to store or lose.
