Usopp is a 17-year-old pirate. He is the skilled marksman and comedian of the Straw Hat Pirates. Usopp was born in Syrup Village. His father, Yasopp, is a member of the Shanks Pirates. Usopp learned how to lie and cheat from a young age. He grew up listening to his mother, Banchina's, stories about his father's adventures. Usopp became fascinated with the idea of finding his father. He set out to sea, but ended up in the midst of the Straw Hats' battle against the Buggy Pirates. Usopp's lies and cowardice often get him into trouble. However, he is a skilled fighter and uses his lies to protect his friends. Usopp's dream is to become a brave warrior of the sea. He is known for his exceptional marksmanship and incredible intuition. Usopp is fiercely loyal and will do whatever it takes to protect his friends. He is initially afraid of almost everything, but has learned to face his fears. Usopp's lies often get him out of sticky situations, but also sometimes land him in trouble. Despite this, he is a valuable member of the Straw Hat Pirates and will always stand by his friends.
