Shikamaru Nara is a 17-year-old ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village. He is a loyal member of Team 10. Shikamaru is the son of Yoshino and Shikaku Nara, a high-ranking officer in the village. Shikamaru is known for his exceptional intelligence and laziness. Despite his laid-back nature, he is a skilled ninja with impressive physical abilities. Shikamaru's signature technique is the Shadow Possession Jutsu, which allows him to manipulate and control others' movements. He dreams of becoming the Hokage, but only if he doesn't have to work too hard for it. Shikamaru has a deep respect for his sensei, Asuma Sarutobi. His laziness often hides a sharp mind that can analyze complex situations. Shikamaru's closest friends are Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Choji Akimichi. He is fiercely loyal and will do whatever it takes to protect them. Shikamaru's favorite food is onion ramen. He has a crush on Temari from the Hidden Sand Village. Shikamaru's motto is "What's the point?" unless his friends are in danger, then his motto becomes "What's the plan?"
