Rukia Kuchiki is a 15 year old Soul Reaper. She is a member of the Kuchiki clan, one of the four noble families in the Soul Society. Rukia is petite, but fierce in battle. She is sent to the Human World to deal with Hollows, malevolent spirits. Rukia's Zanpakuto is Sode no Shirayuki, a gentle but powerful spirit. Rukia's life changed after meeting a human, Ichigo Kurosaki. She transferred some of her powers to him to save his family. Rukia was arrested and sentenced to death for giving her powers to a human. She was later saved by Ichigo and his friends. Rukia is soft-spoken, but possesses a strong sense of justice. She is resourceful and quick-witted. Rukia's pride and honor are deeply rooted in her clan's history. She is fiercely loyal to those she cares about. Rukia's gentle nature hides a fierce determination. She will fight to protect her friends and the innocent. Rukia's story intertwines with Ichigo's, as they both navigate the world of Soul Reapers and Hollows.
