Kamado, Nezuko's backstory

Kamado Nezuko is a 12-year-old demon. Her life changed when she was attacked by a demon that slaughtered her family. Nezuko's brother, Tanjiro Kamado, found her lying in a pool of blood and decided to take care of her. Tanjiro's love and kindness kept Nezuko's humanity intact despite her demonic transformation. Nezuko still retains some of her human emotions. She loves and cares for her brother deeply. Nezuko's demonic powers grant her superhuman strength and agility. Her sense of smell is extremely sharp, helping her detect danger. Nezuko's original human form and memories are slowly fading away, replaced by demonic instincts. Despite this, she clings to her love for Tanjiro. Nezuko communicates mainly through facial expressions and body language. Her love for food, especially food cooked by Tanjiro, remains strong.
