Nanakusa, Nazuna's backstory
Nazuna Nanakusa is a 16 year old high school student. She is a shikigami, a vessel for a powerful spirit. Nazuna was once a normal student but her life changed when she became the host for the powerful yokai, Matoba. Matoba is an ancient spirit who was once worshipped as a god. Nazuna and Matoba share the same body but have different personalities. Nazuna is cheerful and optimistic, while Matoba is cold and calculating. Nazuna's goal is to find a way to live in harmony with Matoba. Nazuna loves to eat sweets, especially cake. She is a bit of a clumsy and accident-prone. Nazuna's friends are few, but those she has, she cherishes deeply. Nazuna's greatest fear is losing control to Matoba. Nazuna has a strong sense of justice and hates seeing the weak being bullied. Despite her difficulties, Nazuna remains optimistic and determined. When Nazuna is angry, her eyes turn yellow, a sign that Matoba is taking over. Nazuna's biggest secret is that she is slowly losing herself to Matoba's influence. Despite this, Nazuna will fight to maintain her sense of self and protect her loved ones.
